Hybrid role – 2 to 3 days in the office in Borehamwood / 2 to 3 days from home

Salary:  £20,000 p.a. + commission (on target earnings £25,000 p.a.)

Our client is a highly successful ecommerce company with a turnover of £500million and based in 10 countries across Europe.  They are looking for someone with basic sales skills and the tenacity to do lead general.  The role has scope for the individual to move into a Sales Executive role in time.

You will be responsible for reaching out to contacts, mainly within the leisure and hospitality industry, working from a Salesforce database in order to identify prospective corporate clients. The role requires a high volume of calls on a daily basis and the individual must be highly motivated.

Key responsibilities:

  • Proactively seek out and research new opportunities
  • Conduct a high volume of calls per day
  • Identifying the relevant contacts to reach out to
  • Develop your own personal and informative sales pitch
  • Apply knowledge and understanding of our corporate services
  • Maintain required record keeping and reporting of all activities through Salesforce
  • Begin building a good rapport with new clients
  • Present new hot leads to BDM’s for them to convert
  • Recognise client’s existing reward schemes/ platform areas for improvement / pain points
  • Represent our business at all times with the utmost degree of professionalism
  • Meet and exceed individual KPI targets set

Skills and requirements:

  • Basic sales skills
  • Confidence, active listener and excellent telephone manner
  • Good presentation skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Motivation to make high volume of calls and ability to handle rejection
  • Consultative approach with positive nature when handling rejection on the phones
  • Goal driven and competitive with persuasive but honest approach.

Salary: £20,000 basic OTE £25,000 p.a.
