Hybrid working – must be willing to attend the office in Farringdon, London EC1 at least 1 day a week.

FTSE 100 global data and analytics company with over 40 years of expertise and based in over 100 countries, requires experience C# Full Stack Software Engineer

We are looking for a C# Full Stack Software Engineer to join a skilled team that builds award-winning Financial Information Library’s and Practical Guidance platforms for this company.  You will work in a team of 6-9 engineers at all levels, delivering the next generation of products. The team has had very low attrition since its inception a few years ago, and we’re recruiting mostly due to the expansion of this team.  The client supports study and workshops and encourages personal development.

The team are a product led team that puts Agile at the core of everything they do, and they constantly iterate on their ways of working & technology platforms to improve delivery and products.

They practice CI/CD, TDD, TBD, which is delivered through pair programming to keep the production code constantly up to date and of a high quality.  You will be coding on day one and probably in production before the end of your first day. The team are friendly, supportive, highly motivated and always keen to learn new technologies and ways of working.

We are looking for someone who wants to get things done, learn new things, and who wants to be a better developer tomorrow than they are today.

As the Software Engineer you will:

  • Have a good understanding at a general level of the technical stack and how aspects of the solution work together to realise overall objective.
  • Proactive use of test and deployment automation to assure quality of delivered software
  • Be engaging with product managers and wider stakeholders to ensure developing things of value for customers and business
  • Proactive attitude towards the design and implementation of computer systems (desktop or preferably web applications) and the necessary learning required to realise a testable implementation.
  • Ability to use their knowledge to help implement the technical direction of solutions to moderately complex technical problems.
  • Drive to achieve a high level of competency and ability across a varied technical toolset, in accordance with the systems in use.

Role Requirements:

  • Experience working with C# (.Net) environment
  • Good understanding of Javascript Frameworks either TypeScript, Angular, React or Vue
  • Understanding of Microservices (RESTful APIs) will be a big advantage
  • Good database experience – SQL
