Our client is looking for a Development Team Lead with excellent Java knowledge to lead a team and develop features for the company’s Remote Gaming Platform. This innovative platform delivers exciting world class games and enables the company to integrate with any operator in the world, providing thrilling gaming experiences to millions of players.
You will lead an agile development team responsible for Remote Gaming Platform Core and Data. You will be responsible for solving interesting problems daily, together with your colleagues, developing these solutions and working with Product Owners to make sure fantastic features are delivered to customers. You will work alongside games teams who will be delivering their games to the player via the platform.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Line management of an Agile team of developers and QAs.
- Regular one to ones, career development, performance reviews with the development team.
- Continuous improvement of the team processes, quality of deliverables and technical standards.
- Ensuring the team is delivering excellent quality solutions, reporting progress and improving delivery if necessary.
- You will also be responsible for contributing to the team’s code base when required.
Required Experience:
- Experience in management an Agile development team, or as a Scrum Master.
- Server-side core Java development experience.
- NoSQL database development e.g. MongoDB experience.
- Good knowledge of Spring framework – core spring libraries.
- Unit and integration testing experience
- Maven and Git knowledge.
- Ability to work on high-volume highly available websites.
Ideal but not essential
- Google cloud API: particularly BigQuery & Cloud Dataflow
- Spring MVC, Spring JDBC, Spring boot, Hazelcast, Camel
- CI/CD (Gitlab or Jenkins)
