PHP/Laravel Full-Stack Developer

Location:  Must live in close proximity to Leeds although remote working available.

Salary £40,000 to £45,000 p.a.

Our client is a professional research company with their Head office in London and several offices across the UK.  They are looking for a Full Stack Laravel Developer to work as part of their IT team, which currently consists of the IT Manager, a Senior Web Developer, a Web Developer and First Line Support. 

You will be responsible for building, developing, and improving the company’s in-house bespoke CMS/CRM system. The role is completely hands-on, writing well-formatted code while working within our development methodologies. You will be a key contributor and work closely with the other members of our technology team.

Alongside strong PHP and Laravel Full Stack development experience you must have:-

Skills Requirements:

  • c5 years experience of all aspects of web development including Laravel, PHP, MySQL, RESTful APIs, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax and Bootstrap.
  • Experience with the standard LAMP/LEMP stack.
  • Practical experience with Object-Oriented PHP (>= 5.3).
  • Demonstrable experience writing, and debugging, queries in MySQL.
  • Practical understanding of content management systems.
  • Experience building WordPress plugins (desirable)
  • Able to plan, develop and implement new technical solutions.
  • Able to maintain and improve existing applications.
  • MVC frameworks – Experience with Laravel essential.
  • Source control systems such as GIT.
  • SSH and Shell.
  • Knowledge of AWS or other well known hosting services.

Salary: £40,000 p.a.
