Principal Identity & Access Management Engineer (Ref 30294)

Location:  Flexible

Salary:   £90,000p.a + 10%bonus

Fantastic opportunity to join Global research and analytics company.  They are looking for a Principal Identity and Access Management Engineer to join their Central Operations, Governance and Security team, providing architectural and technical leadership for Enterprise Identity and Access Services as well as applications that support business units.

Infrequent travel to the US and UK may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Architects to contribute and deliver patterns and designs for new services and features for the company’s wide enterprise systems and applications
  • Operationally Manage the company identity and access management platform, Active Directory and Azure AD Identity services
  • Coordinate adoption, enhancements and changes that impact all company BU’s
  • Provide consultancy, leadership and promote best practices to the business units in strategically important areas, specifically Microsoft on-premise and cloud-based services and applications
  • Problem-solve, involving leading teams in identifying, researching, and coordinating the resources necessary to effectively troubleshoot/diagnose complex project issues
  • Establish standards and guidelines are in place and are widely communicated to all stakeholders to ensure consistency and compliancy across the organisation
  • Ensure enterprise change management activities follow strict protocol and are handled in a concise, transparent and well communicated manner
  • Work closely with architecture, development groups, support groups, and vendors to coordinate special operations, and communicate/escalate problems as appropriate to meet assigned deadline
  • Provide prompt recovery and problem escalation for the exceptions, extrapolating and integrating information within defined boundaries, using multiple system management and problem management tools
  • Assist in the development of comprehensive information security procedures and practices and deployment of a detailed security audit

  • Proper management and implementation of team changes and service requests

Experience Required

  • Experience in architectural design and Powershell and/or integration into Microsoft identity APIs, strong knowledge of architectural governance
  • Advanced knowledge of Identity Life cycle Processes, key enterprise identity technologies, Active Directory and sub systems, supporting services such as Public Key Infrastructure, Azure Active Directory Identity and Security components, 0365 suite and other key technologies employed such as MFA, SCIM
  • Knowledge of Savyint IAM, virtualisation technologies, system recovery procedures, system diagnostics and trouble shooting
  • Advanced understanding of system and problem management tools
  • Ability and willingness to mentor junior staff
  • Strong organisation/project planning, time management and change management skills across multiple functional groups and departments with the ability to delegate
  • Advanced problem-solving experience
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

Salary: £90,000 p.a. + 10% bonus
