Senior Performance Marketing Executive (Paid Search/ PPC Focus)

Location: Borehamwood, Hertfordshire

Highly successful, award winning eCommerce company based in Borehamwood requires a Senior Performance Marketing Executive (Paid Search) to join the Performance Marketing team at a pivotal time in the Year as they are extend our offering to continue growing their already successful online presence built over the last 20+ years.

We are looking for someone with a strong analytical background to undertake this varied role which focuses on hands-on campaign management and optimisation of all PPC/Paid Search and Shopping campaigns.

The Senior Performance Marketing Executive may also be required to support both programmatic and paid social activities when needed,  providing analytical support to the wider Performance Marketing Team. 


  • Keyword research, campaign ad copy creation, implementation, testing, campaign optimisation, performance analysis, reporting and competitor benchmarking are among your key responsibilities, ensuring that traffic, Sales and ROI targets are achieved.
  • Support the Performance Marketing Manager to determine the paid search & Shopping strategy across our brands, considering best practice and paid search most recent innovations.
  • Work cross-functionally with teams in design, brand, content, CRM, SEO and ecommerce to ensure campaigns are aligned with marketing and brand strategies.
  • Responsible for tracking set up, feed management, and any necessary tech and creative requirements for all managed activities.
  • Regular reporting of performance and key achievements to the wider Performance Marketing Team and the rest of the business will be required.


  • 3 years + proven paid search experience (either client or agency side), one of which must have been for an ecommerce store.
  • Experience planning, setting up and running PPC & shopping campaigns across all major Search Engines (Google Ads Certified)
  • Passionate about and driven by online analytics and data.
  • Highly numerate with strong Excel skills, and ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of Google Editor, Google Analytics and Adobe SiteCatalyst (preferred).
  • Experience with bid management tools, Marin preferred.
  • An understanding of product feeds.
  • Sound knowledge of other online customer acquisition channels.
  • Results driven and passionate about ecommerce / online.
  • A desire to have a broad experience of all aspects of online acquisition marketing.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with good interpersonal skills and initiative.

Salary: £40,000 p.a. + bens
