Accountant (part or fully qualified)€50,000 + 6 % annual bonus + medical insurance, life insurance and pension.Hybrid – 2 days a week in the office, Bray, Ireland

You will be reporting to the Team Manager responsible for the Spanish market (Spanish speaker not required) and will be playing a relevant role in the support of a number of sales offices within their offices. You will have daily interactions with a multidisciplinary team in a matrix environment where your ability to take ownership and be proactive is key to thriving in the position. Responsibilities· Manage the month-end accounting process in accordance with US GAAP for key Spanish business units, ensuring all targets are met and proactively reviewing balances before closing.· Payroll management, review, preparation, posting of Payroll Journal entry completion, and submission of various taxes and reports (VAT, Intrastat, Intra-community transactions, CIT accrual calculations, Withholding tax, social security).· Supporting interdepartmental projects, while sharing ideas of continuous improvement along with operations.
Required Skills – ESSENTIAL:· University Degree.· Part or recently qualified accountant with proven technical ability – ACCA, CIMA, CAI etc.· Must be located within a one hour commute of Bray, Ireland to be able to work in the office hybrid.· Proven experience in payroll management, review, preparation, posting of Payroll Journal entry completion, and submission of various taxes and reports (VAT, Intrastat, Intra-community transactions, CIT accrual calculations, Withholding tax, social security)
Preferred Skills in addition to the above – NOT ESSENTIAL :· International accounting experience.· Previous experience working with Spanish entities.· SAP FI knowledge and experience.
