As a Senior Network Security Engineer, you will take ownership of our network and security design and implementation. You will take control of projects to deliver high-performing, robust, and secure solutions. You will collaborate with teams to provide guidance and troubleshooting support for complex escalations to ensure a successful resolution.
Responsibilities
- Creating and implementing low-level network security designs to align with best-practice architecture principles and standards
- Providing subject matter expertise across network security infrastructure to drive Continual Service Improvements through automation, monitoring, reporting and analysis of processes and approaches
- Troubleshooting complex network and security issues to ensure efficient communication between teams and successful resolution
- Communicating with leadership teams and stakeholders on project requirements, status, obstacles, solutions, and team performance
- Ensuring all changes to the network are documented through the Change Management Process
Requirements
- Demonstrate significant Security Operations experience and be passionate about implementing “Infrastructure as Code”
- Have experience supporting Enterprise level Firewall and Security Gateways solutions such as Palo Alto or Zscaler
- Show practical experience in implementing Zero Trust Network solutions
- Have a solid knowledge of security best-practices for intrusion detection, web content filtering, data leakage prevention and encryption
- Have experience delivering automation using programming languages and tools such as Terraform, Python, GitLab, Ansible etc.
- Be on a standby rotation to respond to availability incidents
